How do I choose the proper size for my garment? For example you are a size medium, it doesn't always mean that the size medium in the pattern is the correct size for you. Check the finished measurements and determine from the measurement and the style of the sweater what size you should be knitting. When I buy Clothing for my children I always buy them a size bigger does that apply to knitting as well? Usually the sizes are fairly large and will fit a child in the appropriate age group. Should you be in doubt take one of your children's sweater measure it and compare it to the finished measurements in your pattern. |
