Can I decrease on the purl row?
Quite often it is done for raglan shaping. If your decrease has to slant to the right on the right side of your garment purl 2 stitches together. If your decrease has to slant to the left on the right side of your garment leave your yarn in front as if to purl. Your right needle goes behind your left needle, now insert this needle into the second stitch and then into the first stitch of your left needle from left to right and purl these two stitches together.
